Creek Junction

2009|Public Art|

SCENE

A public art using glass was planned to be installed in the old town of Nagahama City, Shiga.
A simple glass wall should be set at a kink of the creek in order to generate a false landscape of a creek junction.
A laminated mirror safety glass appears to be a semi-reflective surface, which can be also seen through, depending on the different brightness between the front and back as well as the viewing point. It is an attempt to amplify the uniqueness of a landscape with a minimum intervention.
